A heart of gold stopped beating the morning of February 21, 2026. Ronald Wayne Cromarty, born September 20, 1941 passed away suddenly with his family by his side.

Great(est) Papa to Olivia and Colter. He also leaves behind his brother Wayne (Lois), sister Marlene and special niece, Laurie.
Predeceased by his father Arnold Sidney Cromarty and mother Juliet Cromarty (Lavallee). Infant sister Audrey, brothers; Les, Rick, Glen and Lee.
Dad was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and raised in St. Ambroise. In the fall of '61, Dad enlisted in the army and proudly joined the 2nd Batallion of The Queens Own Rifles of Canada.
We will forever treasure his stories of his adventures overseas in Denmark, Amsterdam, Holland and Germany. A piece of our hearts went with you that morning, Dad. Our greatest supporter. Our strongest hero. Go rest now. We will meet you again on the other side. With a piece of date cake and a rum and coke in hand. Love you more.
"We will celebrate Dad privately at a later date."
