Paul Walter Oswald passed away peacefully on June 21st, 2026 at the Portage & District General Hospital age of 102 years.

Paul married Betty Trelenberg and together raised their four children. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Betty, children; Brent (Kim), Cameron, Carol, Lyle (Bela), Donna (Randy), four grandchildren; Tara (Mike), Warren, Andrew and Christopher, two great-grandchildren; Alexa and Logan, his sister Gladys, along with several nieces & nephews and extended family.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Olga, sisters; Ruth, Ida, Tina, Erna, Edna and Lydia, as well as brothers; Richard, Fred and Ed.

Paul was born on January 22, 1924 at Waldersee, MB and was baptized and confirmed at the Christ Lutheran Church in Waldersee, MB. He owned and operated Paul’s Service Station for many years in Langruth. Once retired he continued to work on small motors and woodwork. Paul enjoyed playing cards, fishing and watching the Blue Jays. He belonged to the Kinosota Game & Fish for many years. Spending time with his family was his greatest pleasure.

Paul’s family will commemorate his life with a private gathering.
