On a beautiful sunny Saturday morning, June 27, 2026, surrounded by his family and with unwavering determination, Dennis Skoropata embarked on his journey into eternity, doing so on his own terms and with dignity at the Grandview Hospital, Grandview, MB.

Left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife of 52 years, Theresa (nee Wojtowicz), his son Irvin and his two daughters; Sierra & Autumn, his daughter Denyse (Curtis) and their sons; Tevin (and his girlfriend Carys) & TJ, his daughter Crystal (Mike) and their daughter Skyler. Brothers; Ivan (Sharon) and their family, his brother Wesley and his family, along with many extended family members and friends. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Peter & Betty Skoropata.

Family held immense significance for Dennis, serving as a cornerstone of his identity and values. He particularly treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren, who embodied his love and life. They represent his enduring legacy.

The Skoropata family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Elliott and the exceptional team at Grandview Hospital for their support during such a challenging time, making it considerably more bearable.
