Unexpectedly, on June 18, Bruce Lamb passed away, surrounded by love, with his partner Bev and niece Michelle by his side at the Portage & District General Hospital at the age of 75 years.

Left to honour his memory; his devoted partner Bev Meffen, niece Michelle Tait, nephews Chris Lambert and Richard Lambert, sister-in-law Trish Penner, along with many great nieces & nephews, and many life-time friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Grant and Margaret Lamb.

Farming and construction were Bruce's primary occupations. He enjoyed farm life while also owning Lamb Construction, a heavy equipment construction company.

Bruce had a love for antique car shows. He loved cruising the streets in his '55 Chevy, and was all about the car show life.

All of Bruce's friends were of utmost importance to him, as they shared countless moments of laughter and camaraderie, often enjoying their “Sodipops” together in the shop.

We must also acknowledge the apple of his eye, his exceptionally loyal companion, Bella his dog.

A pair of jeans, a work shirt, and some sturdy work boots—everything a man needs. Underneath that exterior, Bruce possessed a huge heart and was like a mother hen when it came to his family and friends. He worried just a little, about everyone.

Bruce enjoyed scrolling the Portage la Prairie Memories group, relishing the chance to reconnect with old friends and admire wonderful photographs.

You will be missed Bruce Lamb, you will be missed!

In honour of Bruce, A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced when details are finalized.
