With family by her side Betty Garnham of Portage la Prairie, passed away on February 22nd, 2026 at the age of 71, just 12 days short of her 72nd birthday.

Betty was predeceased by her parents Bill and Ethel Garnham, and brother Tom Garnham. She leaves to cherish her memory sister Barb and brother-in-law Don Bolack, sister-in-law Leigh Garnham, nieces; Roxanne, Kim, Jennifer and Leanne and their families, along with many extended family members.

Betty was a social butterfly. She loved to chat with anyone and always loved to tease and joke around with her friends. Family was important to her, always wanting to know how everyone was doing and never forgot anyone’s birthday or anniversary.

She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends at the Oak Tree Towers and her karaoke crew.

In keeping with her wishes, Betty will be cremated following her service and laid to rest with her parents at a later date.

Funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Church Hall, (south entrance of the building), 1125 Sask. Ave. E., on Friday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m.
